Art & Culture
Three times a year, our event series "KunstZeit – Deine Art und Weise" presents young and talented artists from the region around Stuttgart and the federal state Baden-Württemberg. These artists present their works during an opening vernissage. Combined with music and a diverse offer of food and beverages this evening becomes a meeting point for art lovers and those aspiring to be. For the following months until the next vernissage the paintings will be exhibited in our Bar SCALA and also available for purchase.

The next KunstZeit at the ARCOTEL Camino
26 March, 2020 | from 5.30 p.m. at our bar SCALA | Artist Hakan Poyraz
Price per person: EUR 12.50 incl. fingerfood buffet, a drink-special matching the motto of the evening and mineral water.
On 26 March we proudly present the art of Hakan Poyraz.
In his original spray paintings with stencils on high-quality acrylic plates, in a specially developed technique behind glass, he plays with the erotic representation of self-confident women playing with their charms.
In 2015, the Gama Gallery in Istanbul sold the colour-brilliant portraits of women from his complete series of works "INTIMA - INTIMATE FRIEND" within a very short time after the exhibition began.

In the motifs of his original paintings he deals with the theme WOMAN AS ICONE and thus asks himself and us the following question: How much nudity shows the preciousness of the body and implies a certain kind of worship of the feminine? When does the depiction cross a border that degrades the woman to an object of desire?
Flashback to the latest vernissage on the 14 November, 2019
The artist & the vernissage
On November 14, 2019, Vince Voltage and Jaded Jewall, the rock stars of the alternative art and fashion scene, transformed the ARCOTEL Camino into a unique cyberpunk world. The internationally renowned photo artist Vince Voltage exhibits exclusive works from his Cyberpunk and Neo Dark Art series in spectacular light installations and transports visitors to a world somewhere between Blade Runner and Matrix.
The action-packed highlight of the evening was a fashion show. Top models presented the futuristic haute couture creations of the designer Jaded Jewall. Some surprises awaited the visitors and at the bar SCALA, cocktails were created exclusively for this event. To round off the evening, a DJ with atmospheric music ensured that the guests could immerse themselves in the futuristic world with all their senses.
